NO! We are not selling leads, there is no "association" to join, and there are no "membership dues." We pay you, not the other way around. |

How much do you pay? |

Depending on the gig, our DJs make between $75 and $100 per performance hour. On the low end of the spectrum a 2.5 hour school dance pays $235 and on the high end of the spectrum a 6 hour wedding reception at full price pays $936. Actual pay varies based on number of hours and extras/options chosen by the client such as lights/effects, projection equimpent, etc. |

EVERY kind although the majority of our business is made up of weddings, school dances, and private parties. |

What are the requirements for being an Edge DJ? |
| A: |
Before we get to the requirements, please keep one thing in mind...if you're just starting out in the business, WE CAN HELP YOU meet these requirements. Our goal is to create and develop our DJs into true entertainment professionals. It helps our company, it helps the industry, it helps our clients, and it helps you!
All of our DJs are required to have the following:
- Professional/Mobile DJ Sound Equipment including wireless microphones
- Up-to-date music library (including the latest chart hits)
- Liability Insurance (we can help you get this for about $246 per year)
- Reliable Vehicle
To get more gigs, you'll want to have
- Professional/Mobile DJ Lighting/Effects
- Pictures, Video, Bio
- Recording capabilities (to record speeches for weddings)
- Listing capabilities (to create a list of all music played during the gig)
- A/V Knowledge (to run video projection equipment

I'm new to the business. Can you help me get started? |

ABSOLUTELY! Your most valuable assets are your knowledge, skills, and experience. ALL Edge DJs are always welcome to attend/assist/intern other Edge DJs during events. We'll pair you up with our expert DJs or even with Chris (Edge DJ's Owner and DJ-In-Chief) so you can learn the trade and gain valuable 'on the job' experience. You will not be paid for these events but the take-aways you'll get will be invaluable. Edge DJ can also provide advance payment for events to help you purchase equipment. |
